OUR GOLDENS, OUR STORY

We are a family of 4 and we have fallen in love with the breed of golden retrievers. They are the best family and companion dogs. We have also completely fallen in love with raising puppies. Our entire family works together to raise our puppies and send them off to good homes. 

Our journey with golden retrievers started when we were searching for a way to help our oldest daughter overcome her fear of dogs. She had a few bad interactions with dogs as a toddler and it was fast becoming a real phobia for her.  We had long since wanted a dog to join our family, and it was evident that it was now time to do so, for more than one reason. We decided on a golden retriever after much research, and have never looked back. Our first two goldens

have helped our  daughter work on overcoming her fear of dogs immensely, and have been such a great calming presence to teach her that not all dogs are loud, jumpy and aggressive. She not only has overcome her fear due to the help and interaction with our dogs, but she has now gained the confidence to help up raise puppies, walk our dogs confidently on a leash, and now interact smartly, confidently and safely with other dogs she encounters.

Our aim is always to breed calm tempered dogs, and health test our dogs to ensure we are passing down healthy genes as well as good temperaments. 

Besides our family dogs , Bailey, Raya, and new puppy Bubbles, we have a number of female dogs in  guardianship homes. This will allow them to be in our breeding program once they have recieved their health clearances.  However, when not raising puppies, they remain with their guardian home and have a loving family of their own that can give them the individualized time and attention they deserve.
